The first evening of the 2012 Garathon Improv Tournament is in the books!  

The 7:30pm show began with a hilarious set by the very talented, all-female stars of Funkle Todd (pictured above) who took home the victory for Group One.  The late show victory for Group Two went to The Heathers (pictured below) who were supremely funny - a late addition to the Garathon lineup!  Funkle Todd and The Heathers both advance directly to the FINALS on 6/8 for a chance to win $300 and a performance slot in the Empire Comedy Festival at The Tank NYC.

  

Veteran improv teams Dog Court and Froduce both advance to the WILDCARD round, also to be held on 6/8 in the early show.  But, don’t count them out because the GRAND PRIZE is up for grabs as the WILDCARD winner will perform, again, the same night to vie for the GRAND PRIZE in the FINALS in the late show on 6/8! MORE INFORMATION AT THE TANK!

Eight teams perform at least twice in two weeks!  One team will perform three times in two nights!  Who will go the distance?
