"I started to hear it might not be picked up by NBC the week it wasn’t picked up, and I knew that I was also planning to propose to my girlfriend. And I was like Wouldn’t that be funny if that all happened on the same day? So then I proposed, and then we got a call that the show was passed on. [laughs] But it was an amazing day. I mean, it was kind of perfectly planned, because I still think of it as one of the best days of my life.”

VHS Presents - Storytelling Series at 7pm
Angel Yau takes us into the young minds of comedians, filmmakers, and storytellers by watching the videos they made as future struggling artists and telling the stories behind it before. From movie re-enactments to cable access shows to school projects to simply home videos. Each month, four storytellers get to show videos they worked hard on pre-youtube days and reflect on how they’ve grown today.
LATINO DANCE TROUPE at 9pm
The LATINO DANCE TROUPE is sketch comedy by Eric Mangin and Ryan Stanisz. Ryan and Eric met in the long running improv group, Tickle Party, based out of the People’s Improv Theatre in NYC. LDT’s sketch work is long form in nature, with sketches resembling character driven one act plays.
